Self-Advocacy Programs

Empowering individuals to speak up, make informed choices, and direct their own lives and services.

Overview

Your Voice, Your Choices, Your Life

Self-determination and self-advocacy form one of the six CPS outcome domains defined by ODP. At Covenant Partners Care, we believe that every individual has the right and ability to make informed decisions about their own life.

Our self-advocacy programs support individuals in developing the skills and confidence to express their preferences, make choices about their services and daily activities, understand their rights, and participate actively in their ISP planning process.

We connect individuals with self-advocacy organizations, peer support networks, and civic engagement opportunities that reinforce their ability to speak for themselves and influence the systems that affect their lives.

These activities build greater connection to people, businesses, public services, and organizations in the community — ensuring that self-advocacy extends beyond the individual to create systemic change.
